Identity Verification Documents: For runners, we collect a government-issued ID document and a selfie photograph to verify your identity before activating your account.
Location Data: With your explicit permission, we collect real-time GPS coordinates from runners' mobile devices while they are on active manifests. Location data is used solely to track delivery progress and is visible only to authorised company administrators and agents.
Manifest and Delivery Data: Information about delivery manifests, pickup and drop-off locations, scheduled dates, notes, and status updates.
Device and Usage Data: Device identifiers (including Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens for push notifications), IP addresses, browser type, and interaction logs to maintain and improve the service.
Communications: Any messages, notes, or feedback you submit through the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
Verify the identity of runners before activating their accounts.
Facilitate the assignment, tracking, and completion of delivery manifests.
Send push notifications and in-app alerts about manifest updates, invitations, and account status changes.
Enable real-time GPS tracking of runners during active deliveries.

3. Location Data

Location tracking is a core feature of HelperLogs for runner accounts. By using the HelperLogs mobile application, runners consent to the collection of precise GPS coordinates while the app is in use. Background location access may be requested to maintain tracking continuity during active delivery sessions. You may disable location permissions at any time through your device settings; however, this will prevent delivery tracking functionality from working correctly.

Location data is retained for the duration of the associated manifest and for a reasonable period thereafter for audit and dispute resolution purposes. Location data is not sold to third parties.

4. Identity Verification

To protect the integrity of the platform and the safety of all users, runners are required to submit a government-issued photo ID and a selfie before their account is activated. These documents are reviewed by HelperLogs platform administrators. Verification documents are stored securely and are accessible only to authorised personnel. Documents are not shared with third parties except as required by law.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Company Administrators and Agents: Your name, contact details, and delivery activity are visible to the company you are a member of, to the extent necessary to operate the service.
Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers (such as cloud storage, push notification services, and payment processors) to operate the platform. These providers are contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions.
Legal Authorities: We may disclose your information when required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority.
